I just installed Updraft for a backup of my website I was working on. After the backup was succeeded, elementor and all the work in elementor is gone. I have no idea how to solve this. Please help.

I tried to restore the first back-up.. strangely I see “elementor” as a plugin to be restored, however it is still gone from the website/ WordPress.
When I try to install Elementor again I receive the message: “installation failed: file already exist”

Found the solution at the Elementor support page (2 years ago a topic was made).
This was the solution and it worked great for me as well… Also without losing my work.

    Here the solution:
I had the same problem and solved it without loosing my work on the page.

    1. Install an activate the plugin “wp file manager”
    2. It should appear in the sidebar. Open it up and search through the fils till you find the plugins. Inside the plugin-folder you will find the elementor-plugin. Delete the file.
    3. Now you can install elementor again.
