After a recent update of the elementor plugin the navigation arrows on the image carousel have moved so they are both under the images on the left. This resolves if the Visual portfolio plugin is turned off. Elementor suggested I raise this issue with you. Are you able to help?

You can see the carousel about a quarter of the way down this page: https://staging-thefibrecocom-staging.kinsta.cloud/ on the left. The navigation arrows should appear over the images on the right and left but they now have moved to below the images and both arrows on the left.

    I hope you can help.

    Thank you

    Hey Tamsin.

Thank you for reporting to me. I see that Elementor changed styles directly in the Swiper lib (in the legacy version 5.4.2) https://github.com/elementor/elementor/blob/55d0e27ecb6bf49c823f77c1e005d8ba392a0bac/assets/dev/scss/frontend/swiper.scss#L5

This is why we see a conflict right now… Because we include unchanged Swiper styles. Anyway, I have already added a task and we will see what we can do.

    Regards, nK.

    Hi @nko

Is there any update on this yet please? We are currently holding back on updating plugins until this is resolved so it would be great to have a workaround or eta for a fix if you are able to fix it?

    Thank you

    Hey Tamsin.

We plan to address the issue in the next plugin update. While we understand your concern regarding Elementor’s changes affecting the functionality, it’s important to note that the cause lies within Elementor’s alteration to their style inclusion method and the hardcoding of their own styles inside the Swiper CSS. As such, the responsibility for the issue does not fall on our plugin.

Nevertheless, we will work on a solution to ensure compatibility in our upcoming update, but not yet any ETA.

    Regards, nK.

So, at this time the only solution is deactivating your plugin? 🙁

    Guys, just wait please.

We are already added compatibility code for Elementor and Swiper in our dev build and try to release the new plugin version this week.

    Regards, nK.

    Thank you.
