    Hi!

I set the new website. It uses Qwery theme, built with Elementor. I try to edit pages, create new etc. but Elementor editor is not loading, I have “forever-loading” screen. Enabling the safe mode didn’t help.

In the console I have this error:

    GET https://paulscreations.art/wp-json/elementor/v1/kit-elements-defaults 404 (Not Found)

Full screenshot from the console: https://drive.google.com/file/d/169BcrNwTEDUgbh9NJWc5v0VaTDjI5Wd6/view?usp=sharing

Before I tried to switch to default theme, checked for plugin conflicts, increased the memory, reinstalling Elementor plugin, installing older versions.

Hope you can help me to find the right solution. Thanks!

UPD: I switched permalinks from the “postname” to “plain”, and now I can edit with Elementor! But! What should I do to have postname permalinks in this case? Some url rewrite rule?

    Hi there,

    Thank you for contacting us.

It sounds like you’ve already tried some solid troubleshooting steps. The error you’re seeing (404 Not Found for the Elementor kit elements defaults) could be related to server issues and the permalink feature is a WordPress core feature, so for this, you will need to contact WordPress support

Here are a few more steps you could try:

    1. Server Configuration:
      • Make sure your server configuration meets Elementor’s requirements, such as the PHP version, memory limit, and other settings. Sometimes server-related issues can cause resources not to be found.
    2. Check the .htaccess File:
      • If you’re using Apache, make sure your .htaccess file is properly configured. If it’s corrupted or missing some default WordPress rules, it can cause 404 errors.
    3. Check for Caching Issues:
      • Clear all caches, including your browser cache, WordPress cache, and any server-side caching (e.g., from your hosting provider).

    Hope this helps,

    Kind regards,
