Hi @rosemyriah,
It sounds like there might be a conflict with the plugin that’s preventing the editor from loading correctly. You’ve already done a great job reinstalling the plugin and clearing your cache—those are good first steps.
To help figure out what’s causing the issue, could you please try the following?
- Temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-Four to check if the issue is theme-related.
- Disable all other plugins except the one in question and the page builder you’re using. Then, check if you’re able to edit pages.
- If it works after doing the above, re-enable the plugins one by one to find out which one might be causing the conflict.
- Clear your website cache.
- Clear your web browser’s local cache.
- Flush Your Permalinks: Refer to this document
Also, if there are any error messages in the browser’s console or in your site’s error logs, sharing those would really help us investigate further.

Well called! It was a conflict with BB Press. The error code had shifted in the past week– last week it tagged the header program and now it was “e-react-promotions.min.js:2:33737” But it seems to just be a conflict between the two– and the other hasn’t updated since the new WordPress updates so I think it is the other one not being maintained.
Thank you!
Hi @rosemyriah,
Thank you for the update! I’m glad to hear you were able to track down the conflict and identify BBPress as the source. It’s great that things are working again after deactivating it.
We’ll go ahead and mark this thread as resolved, but if you have any other questions or run into anything else, feel free to start a new topic—we’re always happy to help.
Wishing you smooth editing ahead! 😊
