• Howdy WP Fam,

Can a page builder (ideally Elementor, but this could be general, I guess) incorporate other 3rd party elements / features into its own library of assets in building a new page? I’m trying to build a video portfolio and want to have “categories” to filter out some of the bulk… think genres, like narrowing 40 thumbnails down to 5 or so, filtering out the irrelevant ones, then the appropriate remaining thumbnails linking to video-specific subpages (after a parallax type scroll-over effect).

Some plug-ins advertise this ability, including the overall theme I bought (SATURN from Pixelbusrt), but I don’t see it on the Elementor website… but then again I’m new and don’t exactly know how all of these tools play together.

Any advice or resources to recommend?

    Thanks all!
    – Brendan

  • If I understand you correctly, you want to categorize a large number of videos and then show them on a page based on that specific category.

If you define your categories and then put each video on a post with the appropriate category and then use a short code plugin like, Display Posts Shortcode, you can show the videos on one page. The page can show one or multiple categories and can also be set to show how many videos you want to show. While you can show a list of the videos, this plugin shows the actual video. This shortcode is simply put in a Shortcode column.
I use this on a number of my sites.
Sorry if I misunderstood your description
