Elementor – settings, options not working

    Hi

    I just installed FV on an Elementor site:
    – Elementoe/Pro – 3.6.7/3.7.2
    – note – I’m using Elementor containers
    – adding shortcode via text editor widget

    Issue(s)
    – none of the skin settings are getting applied to the video
    – the splash image isn’t getting applied

    Any thoughts as to what might be happening?

    Thank you for reaching out to us!

    I’ve tested it with the free Elemntor version 3.6.7 and did not run into the same issues.

    This might be a theme issue. Please, try to change the theme to see, if the issues persist.

    Thx for the quick reply.

    I’m using Elementor’s Hello theme, which is the most stripped-down theme available. No custom mods to Hello. It’s not a theme issue.

    Changes to settings that affect the individual video setup seem to work (e.g. show sticky option), but:
    – global skin options are not getting applied
    – changes to individual videos are not getting applied (e.g., splash image doesn’t appear).

    FV docs suggest there should be a separate FV element, but I’m only seeing an FV tab in the text editor element (I thought this was deprecated a long time ago).

    Possible issues with cdn? I’m using quic.cloud.

    I turned off quic.cloud cdn. That doesn’t seem to help.

    Hello Imincognito,

    did you use a YouTube video with the free FV Player? The full-featured embedding of YouTube videos is only possible with FV Player Pro although we are moving it into the free FV Player soon.

    Could you please let us know which part of the FV Elementor docs are you referring to? Here’s our guide: https://foliovision.com/player/getting-started/fv-player-elementor-support

    Please provide a screenshot of what you get with Elementor.
