Elementor Single post template for Events
-
Hi, I created a post single template using Elementor and assigned it to Events but it doesn’t work. If I open an event, it won’t have the design I created on Elementor.
I have the Elementor > Settings applied to Post Types: Events, and it still doesn’t work.
Am I missing something?

JohnHi, I tried that method but it just doesn’t work. This is what I did:
– Inside Elementor settings I checked: Events, Venues, and Organizers
– On the Elementor single post template I set the display conditions to: Events (all), Organizers (all), and also Venues (all).
It still doesn’t work.Hi @hcmendez

Hi @alfredo49
Could you try changing the value of the Events template (Events > Settings > Display) to Elementor, and see if that helps?
Hi @d0153
I try change events template to Elementor and Elementor Canvas and updating The events calendar to v6.0.13 but not run, elementor events template isnt viewed.
Hi @alfredo49
Could I ask for the direct URL of one of your events? I’d like to check it further on my end.

All of them i see it when i set the template in elementor backend but in front end not

Hi @alfredo49
Do you have a staging site where you could replicate the issue? If so, please provide the event URL where the Elementor template is not working. I’d like to check it further on my side.

This is a staging site, event url where Elementor template is not working:
https://www.pretqm.com/corredores/event/curso-escalada-2/
In my event single elementor template (it should be applied in the URL) in this order i have these elementor widgets:
- Post Title (it isnt shown in frontend)
- Title Widget ( Title Text) (it is shown frontend & backend))
- Featured Post Image (it isnt shown in frontend)
- Post Content
All of them i see it when i set the template in elementor backend but in front end not
In The Events calendar settings => Display => Elementor Canvas or Elementor Full Width
Hi @alfredo49
As of now, you’ll only need the Post Content widget to display the event details like title, featured image, description, subscribe button, etc.
If the Elementor Canvas or Elementor Full Width does not work, try selecting “Default Page Template” and see if that helps.
I just tried it again on a latest Astra theme and Elementor, and it’s working as expected from my side.
Let me know how it goes.
