    Hi,
    I am having some technical issues after adding a video using Elementor widget. The same can be said about another plugin that is also using VideoJS. The issue is a recent one and so far it affects only recently added video. I am not sure if you are aware of this or not. The video is not loading correctly and people with slow internet speed are not being able to play it. On the other side, the video plays perfectly fine inside the WordPress media library and also when added to the post using WordPress editor. Very strange issue indeed. I had to remove video from the page created by the Elementor until I find the solution.

    I’d also suggest try adding a video using safe mode.

    “Safe Mode” is a safe environment that isolates Elementor and WordPress from all themes and plugins, it helps multiple users solve issues like this.

    If it did help, then there is a plugin/theme conflict that causes an issue with the video widget, try to deactivate all plugins and turn them one by one till you find the culprit.

    Hi victoros,
    I finally got the answers from WordPress about this issue. It is my understanding that they have recently applied an update to their library and how the files are encoded/processed. After this update I am having issues while adding videos using your widget. They are suggesting that if the player supports HLS streaming formats then I should replace .mp4 with .master.m3u8 therefore providing playlist to the player instead of the raw .mp4 file.
    I don’t think it is possible with your widget and I have tested the idea with another plugin that is using the same player. I got the error saying that the file format is not supported.

    This is basically where we are at this moment. Looking forward for your suggestions. You can also contact WordPress for more details so the solution can be implemented in the near future.
