Elementskit ad in dashboard
-
Hi
I am seeing an Elementskit ad for a sale in the WP dashboard since yesterday.
It is resulting in a bad user experience for my clients. How do I disable this and ensure I don’t see it again in the future?
Thanks,

Hi
On the right side have cross button to close this.https://a.cl.ly/kpuNdv6l
And from yesterday it will be removed completely from our plugin dashboard.
Not just the plugin dashboard, it shows up in the main admin dashboard throughout the backend too.
Is there a way to prevent this from happening in the future? Thanks,
Hi,
Following up regarding this.
I keep seeing the elementkit ads in the admin dashboard.
Even using hide dashboard notifications plugins arent hiding this notification. Is there some toggle to stop this from happening?
I have clients who are complaining. Please do let me know how to disable this permanently so as to not see the ads in the dashboard ever again.
Hi,
Please see the screenshot here.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aUo7to-n-65JpeH2l4hUkHKvYoeQZCXk/view?usp=sharingIt only started showing up 3 days ago.
Prior to this it was the black Friday deal’s banner. How do I permanently stop these from showing?
It is not related to cache.I want it to never show again. And future banners to never show again.
How do I do this? Please have a toggle switch for displaying or not displaying ads in your plugin. Especially in the dashboard.
Sorry for the issue you have faced.. I have forwarded this to our developer team.. they will check and assist you 🙂
Hi @atomicbong ,
We do value our user’s concerns. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. This is what we’re gonna do for it:
1. On the next update we will remove the notice from all screens to only a few selected screens.
2. Currently, if you close it by clicking the “x” icon on the top right side, it will be closed and will not be shown on the next reload or further. However, it will appear again after 15 days after that. We will make it permanently dismissable, on the next update.Hopefully, it will help you.
I have the same issue, and clicking the “x” does nothing for me. Hopefully it’s gone with the next update or I’ll remove the plugin. It looks too bad when my clients login to the dashboard.
Hi,
It seems as though the banner is back in the dashboard.
Is there any news on when the update to stop this will be rolled out? There is a close icon on the right side of the image, you can close it from there.
Please note, in my previously stated message, we already updated those things.
In our next update, we are also planning to add an additional toggle button for that.Hi,
When is this update with the toggle button to show or not show ads expected to be rolled out?
I have over 100 sites, and cannot keep clicking on the x button for each of my clients’ sites every 2 weeks.
Please advise.Hi,
This is marked as resolved, but it has not been resolved.
When will this toggle button come out in an update?
I want to NOT see ads from elements kit or wpmet in the main dashboard every few weeks.
I want it to stop completely and never show up again. Is this possible from your plugin?
Please let me know.Hi @atomicbong,
ElementsKit already has an option to enable/disable the User Consent for Messages, Tutorials, and Promotionals Images on Dashboard. You can find the option from ElementsKit > Get Help. (https://d.pr/i/AwHGaC)
We’re always listening to customer feedback. So if you’ve any suggestions to improve the product experience, let us know on the Roadmaps page. (https://wpmet.com/plugin/elementskit/roadmaps/#ideas)
We hope that you’ll stay with us and update the review to better reflect our efforts towards providing a better experience.
Kind Regards,
