elementskit lite mobile menu not working
-
I have build this website and added ElementsKit for the header. The mobile menu is not working no matter what I’ve tried:
- turned off all plugins – not working;
- changed to other themes – not working
- removed the additional code in the header for the radio player didn’t help either.
This is a rather simple setup, I’ve been going over the settings time and time again, checked the documentation to verify but the mobile menu is simply not showing up. Any suggestions?

Hi rudybrinkman,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
From our investigation, the issue appears to be cache/optimization related. Mobile menus in ElementsKit rely on JavaScript, and aggressive caching or JS optimization (delay/defer/minify) can prevent the menu from opening properly on mobile devices.
Additionally, please note that if the Nav Menu widget is disabled for Mobile view in Elementor’s Responsive settings (video), the menu will not appear on mobile, even if everything else is configured correctly. Kindly double-check that the menu is enabled for mobile.
We recommend:
- Disabling JS optimization/delay options temporarily
- Clearing all cache (plugin, server, CDN, browser)
After applying these steps, please test again on a real mobile device.
Let us know the result, and we’ll be happy to assist further.
Best regards,
IkbalHi,
thank you for taking time to respond. The NAV menu as shown in the video was correctly set. Caching on scripting was not turned on. I created a staging environment where I turned it completely off, as well as (see original post) other plugins.
It seems to show up, but it’s “black on black” will need to change the icon now. Thank you!
Kind regards,
Rudy

Hi rudybrinkman,
Thanks for the update — glad to hear the menu is showing up now!
Yes, that makes sense. The issue now seems to be just a styling concern, where the icon/text color is black on a dark background. You can easily fix this by changing the Nav Menu icon and text color from the widget’s Style settings in Elementor.
Please let us know if everything looks good after that, or if you need any further assistance.
Kind regards,
