Hi Greg,
GPX files can be displayed with Maps Marker Pro, altitude charts are not supported yet but planned for a later release. Regarding metadata: this data can be displayed in the gpx panel, see map on frontpage at mapsmarker.com for an example.
Regarding support for “all GPX tracks” – if the gpx file is standard conformant, it can be displayed.
best,
Robert
Hi Robert,
Thanks for your quickly answer. Do you know when the altitude charts will be add at the plugin ?

Greg
can’t give you any details about the schedule for this feature, sorry – it is on the roadmap but not with highest priority
Ok. Can I developp myself this add-on ?
I would like to test the import of GPX tracks on your demo https://demo.mapsmarker.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=leafletmapsmarker_marker but it’s impossible to upload GPX tracks.
“Sorry, you can only upload a .GIF, a .JPG, or a .PNG image file.”
😉
Greg
Ad development: of course you could enhance my plugin – anyway keep in mind that this would most likely break update compatibility and your changes would to be applied after each update.
regarding gpx upload on demo site: thanks for the hint – it seems that due to latest hacking attempts the security configuration has been improved a bit too much 😉 will talk to the server guys to fix this – in the meantime you can use the available gpx track in the media library for testing purposes or install an install an instance of the plugin on your local host installation for example…
Ok. I check it with my developper.
One more question : is it possible to drag and drop markers
you can move a marker on marker edit pages by dragging & dropping, yes. Not possible though for layer maps or on frontend
