Eliminate render-blocking resources

    Hello,

I am using SG Optimizer in coordination with Site Ground server.

On lighthouse, I am receiving some unsatisfying results because some CSS and JS files are taking a long time to be loaded.

The files are:
siteground-optimizer-combined-css-c37c856783fc496e7727293fa9d2dcda.css
siteground-optimizer-combined-js-fdbfa337ffea18d883dd4d67dee1677c.js

The percentage of "Unused Bytes" for these two files are 95.7% and 71.2% respectively.

I am thinking of deferring the JS loading and Asynchronous CSS using another tool in addition to SG optimizer. Do you think it could be a good idea?

Any recommendations?

    I am happy that you choose our plugin to optimize your website, however, the topic relies more on the content of your website than anything else. Asynchronical loading or differing scripts is always a good option, to address the issue in question, unfortunately, as we are not aware of the inner workings of your website this is something you should discuss with a professional developer.

    We use SG Optimizer in combination with Perfmatters (plugin). Perfect combination. No overlap. Together, they will solve your issue – plus more.
