Much to my surprise, Google Lighthouse picked up wpo-minify-header (and footer) as resources that were impeding first paint of the home page. Any advice as to how this can be handled? I’d like to retain your minify capability but can’t see any settings that allow modification… you may not have been aware of this headache!

Sorry to raise this – you guys have been great (just installed update) but this is something that is making too much of a difference in page performance & google ratings for me to ignore.

Oh and to add insult to injury, on Pagespeed (which uses primarily the Google Lighthouse analysis) what do they suggest as an antidote?

    ANS: your plug in.!

    (sigh)

    Hello

The wpo-minify-header and footer files unfortunately cannot be excluded – they are a result of the processing that takes place by WP-Optimize where the site assets like JavaScript / CSS files are combined.

Well that’s a bummer…. thanks for the quick response tho. Well maybe you can feed back to your team that the indicative savings that Lighthouse indicates are substantial… may something for you to think about for the future..
