Eliminating the RSS

    I’m using WordPress as more of a CMS for a sporadically updated humor site, and I doubt anyone would want to get a feed from it. To keep the layout and functionality as simple as possible, I’d like to remove the RSS links. A previous thread suggested deleting the wp-rss2.php etc. files. Before I do, I wanted to ask if that was the best solution. And is there anything in the index.php file that also needs to be changed?

    Why not just rename the rss and atom files ? That way you can put them back easily.
    But in answer, just delete the rss / rss2 and atom files, then remove the links from index.php. That’s all to do.
