Ellipsis conversion

Hi all.

I’ve only just noticed that WP seems to convert 3 full stops (periods, for all you Americanos) into an ellipsis when a post is published. I’d like to switch this auto conversion off but can’t find any help on the matter.

I should also mention that I am using the TinyMCE Advanced plug-in, just in case that makes a difference.

Can anybody give me a solution or clue where to start?
