  • Could you explain please the purpose. It matters. Why do you need this functionality?9 out of 10 businesses in US with proper support block or delete such.

I would like to know of a good plugin that allow my customers to send me excel attachment on my website either by uploading or email

Here are two ways to do this:

    1) Form Builder Plugin: Most form builder plugins (eg Fominator) support a “File Upload” field. Uploaded files may be saved in the WordPress dashboard and//or submitted via email.

    2) Customer Portal Plugin: There are several client portal plugins that provide a private space for customer communication and collaboration, including file sharing. Such plugins are often optimized for specific verticals/industries, so you’ll have to do some digging to find out what works best for you: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/search/client+portal/

    QUICK NOTES

    1. If you’re going to store the files on your site and you’re dealing with sensitive information, you want to be absolutely certain that the plugin you use adequately protects the files… so they don’t end up in Google search.
    2. What Pioneer Web Design said about attachments in emails being blocked is real. But, in this case, you’re at the receiving end… and you have control over what to block/reject or allow (to the extent that you have control over your mail server’s configuration)

    Good luck!

I take quote order from all over the country and some of them have their order in excel. I need to have a way for them to upload their spreadsheet with a list of products that they need so I can quote them the price.

I will not be collecting credit card number but address and name for this.

    Thanks
