Email blocking not working

    Hi there, I have Enabled blocking email domain on registration. I have 2 blocked domains, yahoo.com and gmail.com and I have three allowed domains.

    When I try to subscribe using my gmail.com it should not allow me to sign up and verify but it does, I get the email verification and click the link and it verify me and gives me access to all content on the website?

    So the blocking and allowing of certain domains doesnt seem to work?

    Not sure which version you are using, it seems we already fixed this issue, could you please try latest version and let me know the result.

    No update on this? I am using latest version and it allows anyone to join even though I have blocking of certain urls on

    hi, can you please keep only allowed domain and remove all “blocked domains” and see what’s happening.

    Tried that and it still sends a verification email to an email address that is no on the allow list and when i click verify it verifies it so that blocking is not working

    HI, i just tested the plugin and its working fine for blocked domain and allowed domain, make sure you enabled the option by setting Yes

    “Enable blocking email domain on registration” => “Yes”

    Make sure if you are using 3rd party user register form should have support to default registration_errors hook

    I have tried it again and it does not work.

    I have screenshots of the blocking enabled and screenshot of the plugin version which actually had an update today.

    You will see when you sign up you get a verification and can access everything. This site is using memberpress.

    Hi, that’s the issue, we haven’t provided integration for “memberpress” plugin. becasue “memberpress” doesn’t use registration_errors hook on registration validation process.

    so I can’t use it then, is there any other plugins out there that does the same as yours but works with memberpress?

    Please download and reinstall again, check only registration working or not. login error message should work fine.

    Ok so If I have something like gmail in the blocked domains section it comes up saying ‘ERROR: This gmail.com domain is blocked!’ which is good, however if I don’t have it in the blocked domains section but also do not have it in the allowed domains section then someone can still sign up using a gmail account.

    So basically, I cant stop everyone I dont want to from signing up as I would need to know all the various email extensions to block which would be impossible. Do you think you can get it to work with just the allowed extensions and block everything else?

    Hi, please try latest version 1.0.39, we just added “memberpress” integration, it should work now without any problem for both blocked domain and allowed domain.

    Hi there, still doesnt work.

    I have upgraded to the latest version as instructed.

    I have no blocked domains

    I have 3 allowed domain which are:
    nhs.net
    esneft.nhs.uk
    nhs.uk

    When I try to sign up with these it comes up with
    ERROR: This nhs.net domain is not allowed!
