I installed CleanTalk on a particular site purely to blur their email address but it’s not working. It works on other sites that have exposed email addresses. Any idea why not on this one? It’s up top right on the page.

    Thanks!

    Hello maddogprod,

Please try enabling this option: WordPress Admin Page → Settings → Anti-Spam by CleanTalk → Advanced settings → Use the output buffer (you can copy this name and find it on the settings page using Ctrl+F).
    Clear the site cache.
Check by opening the website in incognito/private mode in your browser.

    Did it help?

UPDATE: I went into Advanced settings. Everything looked fine. Just for yucks I saved them again. Now it’s all working. Not sure if it might have something to do with the plugin update this morning but for now it’s working. Whew!

I spoke too soon. This morning it’s not working in my browser or an incognito window in Chrome but IS in Firefox.

    Hello @maddogprod

We’ve just rechecked the Email Encoder on our side in multiple browsers (including Chrome and Firefox), and everything is working correctly at the moment.

If you notice the issue again, please let us know and we’ll take another look right away.
