My client booked an appointment next week and he hasn’t received an email confirmation. Can you please help me?

    An email is automatically sent

is the booking on the system? The reason I ask is that we have recently found a few customers get to the final confirmation page and fail to hit the finalise button as its so far down the page on their phone.
The first we hear of this is when they turn up as its not logged on the diary.

(we dont take any money to make the booking)

Wow, to be honest I would not even thought that this might be a cause but you are right. How did you fix this?

    Regards,

    Hello there,

Yes I’ve read it and test it and it’s working. What should I do with the customers not pressing the button?

The only thing I could do was add a comment at the top of the checkout page that says “Summary – Remember to hit finalise to confirm”.
it doesnt get everyone, but at least it says it and captures a few!

To do this I had installed a plugin called yellow pencil and then I just go through to make a dummy booking on the website (while logged in to wpress) and then it allows you to edit the text with ease live on screen.

What it really needs is a fundemental change like putting the button at the top, but I cannot do this.
I discovered it only happens for customers using mobile phones to book as its a long way to scroll down hence they miss the button.

What it really needs is to remove the need for that last page.

It’s like a duplicate screen if you don’t take payments.
