Hi,
Try first using a “from” email address that belongs to your website domain, this is the most common restriction applied in most hosting services.
If that doesn’t work please check if your hosting service requires some specific configuration to send emails from PHP/WordPress websites. The plugin uses the settings specified into the WordPress website to deliver the emails, if your hosting has some specific requirements like a fixed “from” address or a custom “SMTP” server those settings must be configured into the WordPress website.
Thank you for using the plugin!
Thank you but it did not work and what I can’t understand is it has only just started. I’ve been using the software for about 8 months and used to work really well.
Do you have any other suggestions?
Regards
Hi,
Emails issues that appear without changing the plugin settings may be due to new requirements set by the hosting service, by the email anti-spam systems or due to a blacklist of the origin IP address of the email.
I recommend you to install an email log plugin, these type of plugins will register each email sent from WordPress to the email server and you can detect this way on which side the email is being lost.
The result of that test probably will point to an email delivery issue in the email server, the options to deal with this type of issue are (one of the following):
Option 1: Contact the hosting support service indicating which email was lost (you will get this info form the email logs) and asking them why the server didn’t deliver that email.
Option 2: If the hosting support service isn’t helpful you can opt for using a free external email delivery service, like a Gmail account connected through a WordPress SMTP plugin.
Option 3: Another alternative is to use a professional email delivery service instead the email service provided by your hosting service.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for using the plugin.
