First of all, thank you for your excellent plugin.

During the setup process, we encountered a rather unusual issue. Email addresses created using our domain (i.e., internal company-like addresses) did not receive the emails, while all other recipients did.

To resolve this, we configured SMTP email sending, which improved delivery in most cases. However, some domain-based company email addresses still do not receive the messages. Of course, we also checked the spam folders.

To make things more complicated, some of these users also subscribed using their personal Gmail addresses via the subscription form. Although they were successfully added to the list as verified subscribers, they still did not receive any emails. These inboxes were checked not only on work computers but also on independent mobile devices.

We would greatly appreciate your assistance in investigating and resolving this issue.

    Thank you in advance.

Hi, most probably the SMTP service is dropping some emails OR the receiving server is refusing them.

Install wp mail logging to have a log of all the emails, so you can see the sent email and possible some errors, if they can be intercepted. Do not use our SMTP addon, use an SMTP plugin.

Two, set a “return path” on Newsletter/Settings and monitor that mailbox for error messages: they can contain useful information. Not always that setting is respected by the delivery service, if you send a test email to [email protected] I can check the email headers.

Last but not least, you should ask the provider or the IT department to be sure to setup at least the SPF record and possibly the DMARC record for the sending domain.
