    Good day

I have this error on my clients site:

EMAIL DELIVERY ERROR: the plugin WP Mail SMTP v2.8.0 logged this error during the last time it tried to send an email: Mailer: Gmail { “error”: “invalid_grant”, “error_description”: “Token has been expired or revoked.” } Please re-grant Google app permissions! Go to WP Mail SMTP plugin settings page. Click the “Remove Connection” button. Then click the “Allow plugin to send emails using your Google account” button and re-enable access. Consider running an email test after fixing it

Every time we re-grand google app permissions, and then after a while, we receive the same error again? Why do this keep on happening? My client has missed online orders because of this.

    Thank you

    Hi @ellawithlovedesigns,

Thanks for reaching out. As we have investigated this issue further, we noticed that the Google API connection may break from time to time, if you’re using the “Test” mode on your Google App.

When you get a chance, please head over to your Google App and publish it (see: https://a.supportally.com/uDnlHL). Then remove your existing Gmail connection under the WP Mail SMTP -> Settings page and reconnect to it.

In case it helps, we have updated our Gmail mailer documentation recently.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks!

Hi @ellawithlovedesigns – We haven’t heard from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and mark this ticket resolved. If you still have questions, though, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.
