I’ve installed NF on a blank site with no other plugins and twenty twenty-five theme installed. When I try to create a link in the content of the default contact email, the link button does nothing.

You can see a video of the issue I’m having here:
    https://schoolsays.co.uk/blank/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/nf-email-button-problem.mp4

Also, the error you see in the console is caused by a call for a file with this path:
    /wp-content/plugins/ninja-forms/assets/js/admin-heartbeat.js?ver=6.7.2

Perhaps related or not, the file does not appear in the corresponding folder despite being called by the plugin.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Hi there,

Good morning. I hope you’re doing great.

This is a confirmed BUG that our development team is working on a fix. Unfortunately, there is no ETA on a solution that I can provide at this time. Though I can assure you that issues are addressed as quickly as possible based on our development team’s current workload and the severity of the issue when compared to the severity of other open issues.

I apologize for the inconvenience it caused.

In the meantime, please use the online HTML editor, such as https://html-online.com/, where you can utilize the visual editor, as shown in the screenshot below.

After you’ve finished editing, copy the code from the right side and paste it into the WYSIWYG editor of the Email Notification or the HTML field editor, as shown in the screenshot below. Then, all code should work correctly.

Give it a try, and let me know how that goes!

    Have a good day!

    Thanks
    Faisal
