Email For User In WordPress

    When a user creates an account I want an email address to be created ([email protected]) and to have a basic email client in the user’s dashboard.

    I’ve searched around assuming there is a plugin that already exists but I’m coming up empty.

    Any ideas?

    Setting up an email address also requires an email server. This runs independently of WordPress. Moreover, WordPress does not have any functionality built in for this. An email server usually provides a browser-based email client itself.

    Depending on the e-mail server used, the procedure would have to be handled differently on an individual basis. I doubt that there is a universal solution for this.     Thanks Threadi. Yes, we will setup our own email server (iRed). Looking to have the WP user create the associated email on sign up and have the email client be in the WP dashboard.
