My host (dreamhost) auto-upgraded last week to 3.3.2 and I stopped getting any emails from wordpress (my customers, too, stopped getting payment confirmation emails from my webshop). I’m unable to get wordpress to send anything.

    How do I troubleshoot this?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of your version of WordPress.

Check with your host, their SPAM filter may be blocking delivery of email from your installation.

Fixed it with the Configure SMTP plugin.

Looks like Dreamhost decided to disable PHP mail() when they upgraded you last week. :-/
