    Hi,

I have been using subscribe2 on my wp blog for more than a year without a problem.
I do have 290 Public subscribers, and 2 Registered subscribers (admin). Subscribe2 is set to email a message for each new Post.
Recipients per email is set to 1.
Send email from is an address from the same domain than the blog.

Everything worked fine till about a week ago when I notice as a registered user I was not receiving the email message upon a new post, and I thought (maybe wrongly) that nobody was receiving them ….

At that point I subscribed as a Public subscriber with another email of mine for testing purpose, and deleted my last post before reposting it.
Received nothing on my public or registered email.

I reinstalled wordpress and subscribe2, tested it again.
First test: I received the email on my public subscription email. Not on the registered user one.
Second test: received nothing …on either email

I started to read here the several issues described, and contacted my server to know their limitation on wp-mail. It is 200 emails/hour.

So I made a test setting the email per recipient to unlimited (0),
    still received nothing at all.

At that point, I was not to sure of who was receiving what, and as I did not want to take the chance that real subscribers would receive all my test, I deleted them (saved of course a list copy) and only kept 2 public subscribers with email addresses I can access.

Then I installed WP Mail log, retested it, and no emails were created upon new post – Worked fine with “send email preview” and “send email”

It seems that being above my server wp-mail limit is not the only problem … (it did work before May 29 and I had only 10 less subscribers, so I was already above my limit)

What’s going on here, I would appreciate some help ! I do not know what to do anymore 🙂

    Me again 🙂

I did reinstall again Subscribe2, and now I can see (through WP Mail Log) that emails are produced (and received) by my 2 Public Subscriber addresses.

No emails are produced for Public Subscribers !

Just installed Postman plugin (smtp mail) to solve the limitation of wp-mail.

I will restore my total 290 subscriber list to Subscribe2, and make a real post on my blog tomorrow to see if it works, at least for the Public Subscribers.

At the moment I do not have much hope for the registered subscribers !

    @callas2

Good to hear things are working again for Public subscribers – it may simply have been a block on your account for sending after you had breached your hosts limit.

As for the Registered Subscribers – their settings are cleared on uninstallation of Subscribe2, go into each user and adjust their subscription settings to see if that restores their emails.
