You need to enter the email address as “mailto:[email protected]” and it will work.
Hi, I have tried the “mailto:[email protected]” format and the http:// format, but all that happens when I click the icon is that a new tab opens with “mailto:[email protected]” in the address bar. (google chrome)
It seems to work ok when i try using my hotmail.com address. Do you think there’s an issue with the widget functioning with a ‘com.au’ address?
If it is the additional “.au”, what can I do to make this work? I need to use my client’s email address and not my own.

For a mailto: link to work your browser needs to have a default mail client set in the browser configuration. Your browser may recognize & act on the big mail domains (gmail, hotmail, etc.)
