• Hello and thanks for this great plugin.

I have some random issues that I can’t manage to fix by myself nor can find any information on Google about it.

When sending newsletters, my visitors often report me that the link they clicked is marked as unsafe by their browser.
Sometimes the links ( article titles links for example) within a newsletter are replaced by httpS instead of http.

I can’t understand where it comes from and so, can’t solve it :-/

Thanks in advance for your help !

    Regards,
    polki

  • Hi Polki,

First of all, do you have an SSL certificate for your site at all? If you don’t, can you check in your wp-admin > Settings > General that your site_url and home_url are both set to “HTTP”?

Finally, can you share a link of one of the problem posts?

    Thanks!

    Hello thanks for your answer.

No SSL certificate on the site, that’s why visitors browsers are saying that my site might be dangerous.
Yes both settings are set to use http and not httpS.

for example, here is a newsletter I recently sent :

    HERE

As you can see, links are using HTTPS instead of HTTP.
