Email Log -> View Email formatting issue

    Hi,

    It is very difficult to search in specific plugin forums but in last few pages, I could not locate any topic on this issue.

    This is about the issue in viewing Woocommerce sent email from the View link in email log.

    My email when received by the customer is see as below (this is as expected):

    The same email when viewed from View link in email log is seen as below
    You will notice list bullets. (this is not expected)

    What changes do I need to do to prevent Post SMTP from adding it’s own styling in the View link in email log?

    The view link is not an email client.

    You still under your website, so if any of your plugins or your theme can load a style that can do it.

    @yehudah,

    Thank you for your quick reply. I have removed all plugins except Woocommerce and then tried this.

    In fact I spent a couple of days with the plugin developer whose plugin generates this email to troubleshoot this email thinking it was their plugin’s issue.

    Finally I calmed down when I saw that the customer will NOT been seeing the bullet points.

    This is NOT a show stopper but it would help if this could be identified and fixed.

    Going forward, I will not be able to review email design using the View Link from the email log.

    @yehudah,

    I did some additional testing to get to the root cause for this.

    I installed another plugin: Email Log

    I sent a test email from Woocommerce.

    Email viewed from Post SMTP Log -> Bullet point is visible

    Same Email viewed from Email Log -> Bullet point is NOT visible

    Please check and fix where appropriate. I would NOT want to install ANOTHER plugin just to view sent emails.
