  • @rick111,

    No, it’s not normal, it would indicate that the Public Subscribers are not getting their emails as they are not being generated. In Subscribe2->Settings do you have any checked categories under the Excluded Categories heading?

    Thanks for quick response. I figured out that Subscriber2 puts the email addresses at the BCC and to see the logs one must have the full version of Email Logs.

    @rick111,

    Subscribe2 uses the BCC emails header if the number of recipients per email setting is set to anything other than 1, and all of the emails are sent to the sender address too.

    If the number of recipients per email is sent to 1 then Subscribe2 will send one email per recipient? If so, why using the BCC at all?

    @rick111,

    I’m not sure I understand what you are asking, BCC is in there as an option for the many users of Subscribe2.

    Some web hosts disallow use of the BCC header so single emails are a necessity. Other hosting providers over sell their space so response times can be slow – sending individual emails could cause the server to time out. So offering the option to send a lesser number of emails to many recipients at a time using the BCC header can be useful in stopping the timeouts.

    mattyrob,

    Thanks for your support. I think based on my data that AOL blocks incoming email messages from the BCC field. Is ti possible to send single emails only to AOL recipients and the rest from the BCC field?

    @rick111,

    Selective sending of emails as single emails to specific domains is not a current option of Subscribe2. You’d need to configure Subscribe2 to send all emails individually.
