Email madness – stop WordPress emails?

I’ve been recieving email notifications from WordPress – nearly 200 in the last 9 hours. I read that there’s a known bug for the last 2 weeks or so. Is this being worked on?

Last night I was not subscribed to anything, this morning I showed as subscribed to the Plugins & Hacks forum. I’ve changed that to unsubscribe and am still receiving emails.

I’d send these to spam, but don’t know how to do that and still allow other WordPress emails to reach me.
