Hello, I’ve created a custom order status and activated the email notification for it.
Unfortunately, when changing order status to this custom one, no email is sent to the customer.
What I can do to fix it?

    Hi @psartorio ,

    Thanks for reaching out.

When you create a custom order status, the plugin automatically adds an email for it, but it must be configured so the customer actually receives it. Please start with this guide:

How to edit or override the email templates for custom order status?
    https://brightplugins.com/docs/how-to-edit-or-override-the-email-templates-for-custom-order-status/

If, after following the article, the email is still not sent, please:

    1. Reproduce the issue in a test site with only WooCommerce, Storefront and our plugin active.
    2. Record a short screen capture (CloudApp, Loom, etc.) showing the status change and the missing email.
    3. Confirm whether other WooCommerce emails (like “Processing order”) are working.

With that information we can review the case in more detail on our side.

    Best regards, peace!

    Hi @psartorio,

Since we haven’t heard back, we’ll consider this resolved for now.

In some cases, this behavior may be related to email configuration (WooCommerce email settings, SMTP setup, or conflicts with other plugins). We always recommend testing on a clean environment with only WooCommerce and our plugin active to rule out conflicts.

Additionally, we recently released version 2.0, which includes improvements and fixes related to custom status email handling. Please make sure you are running the latest version and test again.

If the issue persists, feel free to open a new thread and we’ll be happy to assist further.

    Best regards,peace!
