  • Yes. We hear this every now and then. Make sure you have the Notify Vendor email option enabled.

And then there’s the problem of WooThemes gateways included with Woo (such as COD, Cheque, BACS) that are kinda broken by default. We include the WC Vendors Test gateway. Use that when “testing” orders out. All regular gateways that actually process a payment will work no problem. Woo just goofed up how their free test gateways process orders, and have never fixed them.

If confirmation emails dont work with the WC Vendors Test gateway, it’s likely a webserver issue or a vendors email address is wrong issue, or notify vendors is not enabled. Email notifications are such a critical part of the plugin, if there were issues with it, we’d have a thousand support threads asking why they don’t work. 😉

It worked with PayPal Development; but table shipping did not work.

Shipping printed as 0.00 to the Vendor.

Per Product Shipping & Table Rate Shipping 2, both by WooThemes, are the only two shipping plugins that will return the shipping commission to a vendor. The third party free versions of them will not, they are coded differently and randomly. You might benefit from going to http://www.wcvendors.com and reading through the help forums and knowledgebase there. We have much more freedom in being able to help you on our own site. On the forums here, there are questions we cant ask and its hard to moderate.

    Thank you

I have the Table Rate Shipping plugin and I will try that one instead.

I added the Table Rate Shipping from Woo and the same results. Shipping showed 100% to Admin; but showed Shipping Subtotal: $0.00 for vendor.

    Truly puzzled now.

    Hi BBC,

First thing to check is make sure that you are enabling the shipping goes to vendor. Then, check the order commissions (even if the shipping column says $0) to see if the total commission given equals product+shipping commissions. There was a bug reported a few months back that the shipping column didn’t work, we tried to replicate it, but couldn’t, so that’s the reason I ask you to do the manual brain calculation — to confirm it isnt the bug reported that we couldn’t replicate. 🙂

If Woo’s Table Rate Shipping 2 plugin does not work, Woo might have changed something in the recent version that is breaking how it works. They have a tendancy to do that and of course if we fix it for the new one then everyone with the old one gets a broken site.

One last try — https://github.com/academe/wc-multiple-packages is a plugin written by one of our WC Vendors Members that accommodates essentially the same thing. He has a support thread if you have questions, too: https://www.wcvendors.com/help/topic/different-shipping-methods-for-each-vendor/

If TRS2 ends up being broken, we’ll likely remove support for it all together. WC Vendors Pro, which is due out towards Q4 this year, will have our own shipping modules specifically written for WC Vendors that will be a lot easier to use and support.

    Thank you +10

Per the 1st section YES all checks in place; but the new customer order is choppy… It shows the item and variations. Then it prints a commission subtotal. Then the Tax subtotal which are both correct and then a Shipping subtotal that is 0.

But no over all total combined..

As for the poss of the Shipping Table being the issue – Yes I’d agree with this as this sort of thing does take place with Woo.

Tried the plugin that was created – wc-multiple-packages >> It showed via Flat Rate, Flat Rate, Flat Rate on the admin email in the tables and still no shipping for the Vendor.

As for your NEW release – look forward to it.

+Thank you for getting back to me.
