    Hi all, I am hoping someone can help me with a problem I’ve been having. I created a hustle email opt-in for my website and linked to a mailchimp api and list. When I test it out on the website and input name and email, I get a message that states “something went wrong, please try again”

    I can’t seem to get this to work. Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hope you are doing well!

    Thank you for sharing a link to your site. There is a 500 (Internal Server Error) in the developer’s console, which means in most cases that there is a conflict with another plugin or theme.

    Would you please run a quick test?
    – Deactivate all the plugins on your site, except Hustle
    – Switch to a default WordPress theme
    – Try to sign up to newsletter again
    – If everything is well, activate one plugin at a time till you can replicate this issue.

    Hi Nastia, I only have three plug ins (hustle included); have tried what you suggested but it does not work. 🙁

    Sorry for the trouble! We were able to find an issue with the Mailchimp API that we are working to correct. Thank you for the feedback.

    We are working on upgrading our Mailchimp API to version 3 to help resolve this. In the meantime, some of our users have found success with following these steps.
    – Create a new API key on MailChimp
    – Add a new email to the list (even if you have others added)
    – Entered new API in Hustle
    – Reactivate the Hustle pop-up & widget

    I hope this helps as a temporary solution while we work on the new API!
