    Hello,

I’m trying to customize Woocommerce emails and I would like to change Subject of emails but I couldn’t find if it is possible to use other placeholders for some informations.

    https://woocommerce.com/document/configuring-woocommerce-settings/emails/

I would like to use customer name or email, is that possible? I see that this information are used on the email header of “reply to” but it would be interesting to use it on subject too.

    Thank you.

  • Hi @rafaelzrt,

    Thank you for reaching out!

Currently, WooCommerce doesn’t offer built-in support for placeholders like customer name or email in the email subject. However, you can customize email subjects by using custom code or a third-party plugin that allows more advanced email template customization.

If you’re comfortable with coding, you can also create a custom function to include dynamic data like the customer’s name or email in the subject by hooking into WooCommerce’s email system.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved.

If you have a few minutes, we’d love if you could leave us a review: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/
