    Error Message 1:

I have the following message on my email settings page:

“You appear to be sending notifications from X, which has a different domain name than your blog server whatsenuf.com. This may result in failed emails.”

My admin email is [email protected].

Is that the address your plug-in is referring to?

Or, is it referencing an address somewhere else?

    Error Message 2:

“Your chosen email type (per-post or digest) does not support the following keywords:
    {TITLE}, {PERMALINK}”

Does this mean my periodic bulk emails cannot include post titles?

    Thanks!

  • @danahendrickson,

You are seeing the first error message because the account or setting you have chosen to send your email notification from, at Subscribe2->Settings under the Email Settings tab where it says “Send Email From” and there is a drop down list, is set to use an email address that does not end with ‘whatsenuf.com’, so it is not currently using the email you entered above.

Does this mean my periodic bulk emails cannot include post titles?

Yes, that’s exactly what it means.

There are currently two choices in the pulldown menu => dana and whatsenuf

The first refers to my personal address [email protected]

The second refers to my admin address [email protected]

I have chosen whatsenuf from the menu and get the error message about ummatching domains.

So how to I get the correct address to appear in the menu???

    Dana

    @dana,

In the drop down you should have at least three options, one saying “post author”, another saying your blog name and further options for each admin level account on your blog. Ideally you need to choose one of the accounts that is associated with the email address, if one does not exist go to the WordPress Users menu and create it.
