Hi @ahamaton,
Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.
You should be able to use a third party plugin that tracks mails that are sent out of your WordPress website. Such as WP Mail Logging – https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-mail-logging/
Could you please temporarily install this plugin and run some tests to see if the emails were successfully sent from your WordPress site?
You may also reach out to your hosting provider to have a look at your server’s mail logs to see if any emails from your WordPress site address has been received or blocked at all.
Please let me know if this helps.
Hey Andrew
Sorry, I didnt make it very clear. The emails are going out from what i can see. the problem is using the templates addon. That addon enables you to send a test email to yourself but for some reason it says its sent but Im not actually receiving it. I dont use my servers email so that cant be causing it. I use Outlook O365.
I just tried that plugin Andrew
Again PMP said the test email was sent successfully but it didnt show in the plugins log.
This may require us to dig a bit deeper but ww.wp.xz.cn does not allow for this.
Here is a guide to troubleshoot emails – https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/troubleshooting-email-issues-sending-sent-spam-delivery-delays/
I hope this helps.
Thanks Andrew but as I say, the outbound emails are sending both from wordpress and from PMP. Its just regards the email templates addon. The addon has a feature to save and send a test email to yourself. I think the changes I make are saved and the addon says the email is sent I just dont receive them. If I test the actual emails from the website I receive them its just from the templates addon I dont receive them. Kind regards
Andrew
Thanks for the feedback, does sending the test email hang (by showing just a loading circle) or does it show that it was successfully sent?
Hi Andrew
It shows that it was successfully sent
Kind regards
Andrew
That’s strange, I’m going to run some tests on my end to see if I can replicate this on a live environment.
The only thing I can think of is that the emails are being blocked on the recipient end, especially if the server shows that the email was successfully sent out.
