Can you tell me more about how your custom emails are created, have you created HTML templates inside your theme or custom plugin?

Please let me know so I may look into this further.

I can tell you that before the integration of the plugin into the core it worked. I simply removed the old plugin with the new version and now it doesn’t work anymore.
To be precise, the subject of the email works, but the body remains the standard one.

@anthos77 is this when you are trying to send a test email? We have a fix coming out in an upcoming release that may resolve this issue.

Hi Andrew, it definitely happens when I take the test. I have the impression that it happens with the end user too, but let’s see how it goes with the update then!

Hi Andrew, I can confirm that with version 2.6.2 the problem remains. Can I ask you something? Where are the templates saved? Could it be that by switching from the separate plugin to the current one, PMP cannot detect the modified versions? What is the directory where PMP saves the templates? I can try to see if maybe this is the problem …

Since Paid Memberships Pro v2.6+ the email templates are saved within the WordPress database and doesn’t rely on the HTML templates anymore.

We have merged the code from the Email Templates Admin Editor Add On into the core version of Paid Memberships Pro and it should carry over any pre-existing settings that you may have entered within the Email Templates Admin Editor Add On.

Are the modified values showing up inside your Email Templates settings area of Paid Memberships Pro? If so, please can you resave your templates that you have edited and let me know if the issue persists.

I tried to:
– save the templates again
– reset and re-save the templates
But unfortunately the result does not change. The subject of the email is changed, while the body of the message remains the original one.
What can I do?!
