from my understanding that post is for another solution. I need to send and email to the user that contains a link to verify the email and not the user to repeat twice their email address in the form. Please let me know if I understood the link wrongly

We have a feedback from our developers and they suggested the following workaround.
You can create two forms, one form to generate the secure link and the other one as the main. Then, restrict access to the second form page directly to make it work only from the link sent on the email notification from the first form.
However, I am afraid that the amount of custom work needed goes out of scope of the support that we can offer here. We suggest you to hire a developer to assist you further with this.
