Emails already in use

    Hi there,

    I have lots of users who want to register as members for a paid membership system on my website and say their email is already in use. This is most likely because they have WordPress accounts elsewhere. Is there a way round this? Many are too lazy to use another email address to sign up..

    Hi @apsjay,

    Can you please clarify if these users already have an account on your website or are they trying to create one for the first time?

    Hi @apsjay,

    If users do not have an account on your website, they should be able to register without receiving that message.

    I checked your registration page and I was able to register without receiving that message.

    Could you please try again to register (with an email that is not already registered on your site) and let me know if you still encounter this issue?

    Thanks! I figured out what the problem was, I had added all members manually already, so they could not register themselves.
