Emails are not sent (SMTP plugin ?)
-
I state that I use the Easy WP SMTP plugin to send emails
I wanted to point out that the e-mails are not sent to me as an administrator or to the applicant
The set SMTP server is Google (GSuite use)

Hi @webepc,
The plugin uses the regular wp_mail function. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.
I’ll try and test this later.
It’s a real very very problem!
To make my email (gsuite) work properly with my hosting I have to use the SMTP server! What can I do?
I’m looking into this
I went ahead and tested this with the Easy WP SMTP plugin activated and was able to use the forms fine. Emails were being sent even after configuring the SMTP settings.
@webepc – when sending a test email under Dashboard > Settings > Easy WP SMTP > Test Email, are your emails being sent? Or are there any errors?
@amooreto
Emails are immediately sent and receivedTest OK! (and other forms example CF7)
New error doing the test with FireFox:
“The security token could not be verified. Please try again.”@webepc – can you confirm what version of the plugin you are using?
the latest versions available
I know this issue was reported in previous versions. Can you open a new ticket regarding your new issue?
A moment, I have now received the notification that is available GPDR 1.4.1 (I used 1.4.0)
I immediately take a new test
Updated the plugin, done a test with Internet Explorer> again the error
Tried to clean up all the cache (Fastest Cache and Autoptimize) and re-test with FireFox> it seems to work but NOT gets the message
new test: I have disabled Easy WP SMTP, clean the cache, open Chorme
Messages arrive immediately! However there are three problems:
1) The confirmation email to the applicant is NOT SHIPPED
2) If you enter in GPDR> requests the request is NOT saved
3) In the email received with the request, the “request” field is empty and does not show the text enteredFor me, when just having the GDPR & Easy WP SMTP plugin enabled I do not have those problems:
1. The confirmation emails are being sent to the user
2. Once a user confirms via email the request it will appear under GDPR > Requests. If the user does not confirm the request via email it will not get added to the requests table
3. The message entered in the form is appearing in the email that gets sent to the user.I will try activating the Fastest Cache plugin to see if that has any impact.
Glad to see emails are being sent when not using the Easy WP SMTP plugin.
I tested your site on IE11 and did not receive the error when agreeing to the privacy banner
no emails worked AFTER deactivating the SMTP plugin
I reactivated the Easy SMTP plugin and took a test.
Setting a wrong password> rightfully gave me the plugin
s25.postimg.cc/z6y9itxn3/error.jpgOnce the gsuite SMTP server password has been set, I am told “message sent” but it does NOT arrive
However even keeping SMTP SMTP turned off and making a request
The message arrives to me owner of the site but:1 – The message arrives empty
s25.postimg.cc/i7pb3mrlb/require.jpg2 – The email does NOT arrive to the applicant
3 – if I click on the url to confirm the request nothing happens
4 – I can not find the request in the GPDR panel
