    I have tried everything to fix this issue, there is no problem with my email host who provides the SMTP address. need to fix this so we can receive emails for our business.

    When you go to email log, what is the status for the last failed email ?

    the error just says

    Connection timed out

    I have attempted the Connectivity Test, server port 25 is closed but 465 and 587 are open but have no service?

    You are using port 25 ? Why ?
    smtp:tls:plain://smtp.power-net.com.au:25

    Press “Show all settings”
    Change “Outgoing Mail Server Port” to 587

    Not sure, but i changed it to 587 and tried the test email and still connection timing out

    Please paste the diagnostic report again.

    Wow, sorry to butt in, but there were 3 support issues/tickets before this one in the last week. What the heck is up with that?

    Can you check with your web hosting support ? Connection timeout is a server side issue

    hello, i have contacted them again and they have set up a new way to get the emails through but not as the STARTTLS but that is okay. thanks for all your help.
