Emails for Announcements

    It seems there is a recurring theme of issues with sending emails to users when an announcement is made from the Pro plugin. Messages between users properly sends an email to the user, but the Announcements does not. Announcements display properly on the front end of the website as a banner at the top, but they do not generate an email.

    I have looked at the cron jobs and tried changing the schedule to no avail. I have tried contacting the plugin owner for almost a week and no response. Any ideas?
