Emails not being sent (error)

    I have been having problems with the emails being sent from my website for months. I have Post SMTP installed and tried to resolve the problems by creating a Google App by following instructions found online. I’ve done this twice and each time it works – for a few days – and then it stops working.

    I just don’t know what to do to resolve this.

    In my email log the status is { “error”: “invalid_grant”, “error_description”: “Bad Request” }

    No emails are being sent. I don’t get emails telling me of new signups, comments, or orders. Customers are not receiving confirmation emails or download links. My contact form does not work either.

    Please understand that I am not very tech-y. I can follow instructions usually but often I don’t know what I’m doing or why I’m doing it, which is making finding a solution online so much harder as I do not understand the jargon.

    Suggest that:
    – You talk to your website hosting technical support.
    – Try a different SMTP plugin

    RossMitchell, thank you so much. I’ve just up a new SMTP Plugin and it is working! Something so simple and I didn’t even think about doing that. I am very thankful for you taking the time to reply. Have a good day.
