I have the same problem. The documentation is cluttered with no information on how to set up a normal email address that the form can be sent to after submission. I have put my gmail address at the TO: field in the Mail fields. Why don’t they specify everything in the DOCS. Plus my browser has images disabled. Anyone knows a pdf doc I can download? Wasted hours with this plugin.
I’ve got more understanding from checking out the default form than reading the docs. Pathetic docs for sure.

Finally got them all at once after ten minutes. Gmail put the in spam and display this: Why is this message in Spam? It’s similar to messages that were detected by our spam filters. What is wrong with this plugin?
Ive tested all emails – we only receive the email saying:
Subject: Bridal Make Up Bali
Message Body:
Thank you for getting in touch. I will respond shortly.

We are NOT receiving the submitted emails?? Not even in spam…
me neither.I don’t understand why!
Last year this form http://www.jaskowazagroda.pl/?page_id=549 worked great.
Now we don’t receive any emails! 🙁

Though the plugin successfully sends millions of emails every day, there are a host of issues that can stop or delay emails on both the sending and receiving ends. It depends entirely on your local Server & WordPress configuration. You will need to investigate this issue for your particular local configuration.
See Contact Form 7 Email Issues. There is a link at the bottom of the page to a comprehensive and detailed article which covers your issue. Most people that work through this information appear to be able to resolve their email sending & receiving issues.

Oh, thank goodness. I thought I was losing my mind. I just RE-installed the plugin and it’s still not working.
Emails don’t get to me most of the time, but do with other plugins. My WP is hosted with GoDaddy, don’t have issues with the local mailserver (not that I could do anything about it if I did).
Piping doesn’t go through at all, simple forms are hit and miss. Using “Contact Form DB”, I can see ALL submissions are going through, just not getting emailed. According to FAQ “it’s highly possible that the mail has been kidnapped or killed after that.”
