Hi, what is the shortcode you are using?
Thanks for the response, here is the shortcode I am using:
[wordpress_file_upload multiple=”false” fitmode=”responsive” captchatype=”RecaptchaV2 (no account)” duplicatespolicy=”maintain both” placements=”userdata/title/filename+selectbutton/subfolders/captcha/uploadbutton/filelist/message” uploadtitle=”Upload file(s)” notify=”true” notifyrecipients=”[email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]” notifysubject=”PRG Unit Strength Report” notifymessage=”Dear Recipient,%n%%n%This is an automatic delivery message to notify you that a new unit strength report has been uploaded. See attached.%n%%n%Regards” attachfile=”true” userdata=”true” userdatalabel=”Unit Designation|t:text|s:right|r:1|a:1|p:none|d:/College or University|t:multitext|s:right|r:1|p:none”]
Really strange, I just checked in my test environment and it works fine. Have you checked the Spam?
Just one remark, though I do not know it is matters. The double quote symbol in the above shortcode you sent me, (”), is not the normal one (“). I do not know if it is causing any strangle behaviour. Can you check?
Nickolas
Its not sending to my Spam. Again, the issue is only limited to a guest uploading a file. If I or another Admin user is logged in, it will email with the attached file. I didn’t see a setting under the plugin to limit it to only Admin or Guest users so I’m not sure what the issue would be. As for the (“) symbol, it appears to be correct on my end. Let me know if there is anything else I can try to address this issue.
Thanks
are you sure that guests can upload files successfully?
Yes – the files show up in the file browser. But for some reason it won’t generate the email with the attached file.
really strange, please send me the URL of the page, so that I can try myself as a guest
