Embed audio feed
-
Can the plugin embed audio (specifically m4a) like it does for video? I tried the ‘Embedded video player link’ option, but still just got a list of download links. I am pulling the feed from a streaming server for use on the radio station’s website.
Thanks!

Hi timsjams,
Could you tell us here the RSS Feed URL you are trying to import?
Please also point in the RSS Feed which part is the embedded audio you like to fetch/import. Some screenshots will be very helpful.
If you are using any of our add-ons, you can send the URL and screenshot in our premium support channel.
Thank you for responding. The feed is here:
https://radio.securenetsystems.net/dx/get_ondemand.cfm?stationCallSign=KSTJ&authTokenWeb=87D50A1C-12E4-4C6B-83BD-B2D54F8E71FThe feed is a list of on-demand files uploaded to the streaming server. I would like to be able to wrap the list items in [embed] tags.
I would be happy to purchase add-ons of you can demonstrate that this would work!
Thanks,
TIM
Hi TIM,
Sorry to keep you waiting.
When we try to visit your RSS Feed URL: https://radio.securenetsystems.net/dx/get_ondemand.cfm?stationCallSign=KSTJ&authTokenWeb=87D50A1C-12E4-4C6B-83BD-B2D54F8E71F
It gave the “Invalid Station” error, see: http://take.ms/QjDYp
Is this the correct RSS Feed URL or probably it has changed since the last time you gave this URL?
Thanks Eric,
This should be right:

Hi TIM,
Thanks for the latest Feed URL. It works.
If you’d like to wrap the imported items/links as an embedded content, we suggest you use Feed to Post add-on to import the feeds and convert them into Posts. With Feed to Post, you’ll then have the Append/Prepend to Content functionality, hence you can wrap the imported links using WordPress Audio Shortcode like shown below:
Please give it a try on our Advanced Feeds Bundle Demo and see if this works for you or not.
If you have further question after trying out the demo please send us a pre-sales question.
