embed code and video

Hi
I used to be able to easily embed video. I have Simple youtube plugin installed. Now when I try It starts but then fails each time.

I have also been given a line of code to embed and this is new to me despite having a plugin nothing happens.

Please note this is new to me and I do not have technical ability
