    Currently the plugin doesn’t support using embed codes for sharing. The focus on HTML5 in JW6 means that we can no longer embed videos using the <embed> tag. Instead we have to work with iframes. We are investigating how to handle this in a future update.

    does adding the (sharing.code=) code still work with this new player

    You could try with sharing__code.

    Please make sure to properly URIEncode your code value.
