Embed Email Subscription Not Working

    Hello,

    BLUF: Embed functionality acquires the new email and info (Name & Email), but does not send a subscription email

    Confirmed with plugin “Email Check” that my WordPress site is indeed sending emails.

    I integrated a newly created account with MailChimp.

    Published embed with functionality:
    Submission behavior turned on with a success message. (works correctly)
    Automated Email > Send an automated email to the user: Active/Turned on. Email Time: Instant.

    Please advise. Thanks in advance.

    I tested it again as well. I removed 70% of my plugins and made many other modifications. I suppose that solved the issue?

    Minor note: Notice how the variable/shortcode “{name}” is visible as in in the email subject. Any idea why that is?

    It seems so. It would confirm that one of those removed plugins was causing conflict so once it was removed, the conflict got solved and it started working.

    Yes, those shortcodes are supported only in message body while not in subject – they are not processed there, I’m afraid.
